Juan C. Teran, MD, attended La Universidad Anáhuac and Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México, and completed internal medicine residency programs at Instituto Nacional de la Nutrición and MetroHealth Medical Center, Case Western University. He is board certified by the American Board of Gastroenterology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed fellowships in gastroenterology at MetroHeatth Medical Center, and in hepatology and biliary disease at The Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH.
His professional memberships include the American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Teran served on the faculty of the Medical College of Virginia and The Cleveland Clinic. He is fluent in both Spanish and French.
